My dear sweet pal Megan B is a fabulous cook, and lordess knows I need those in my life. (I need her for other reasons too, number one of which is she makes me laugh so hard I plotz.) She made this crazy-delicious dessert for us when we were in Langley, WA recently looking for whales.

It was freaking “Welcome the Whales” weekend AND we were staying in a cabin that literally overlooked the strait where all the gray whales migrate AND I got up at the crack of dawn (by myself, I might add) to stare out at the strait for, like, ever, and: no whales. No whales of any kind. The entire weekend. *shakes fist*
Well, if I’d known there was bread pudding…
But at least we got a really, really good dessert.
